Margot Bannerman

Just before sunset, people leaving work or meeting with friends, gradually became aware of seven cyclists, unremarkable apart from customised fluorescent clothing, moving in patterns across Granary Sqaure; repeatedly weaving in and out of the trees, meandering through the fountains, disappearing in a line before reemerging, following pedestrians and cyclists. Their long, slightly wayward shadows interrupted groups of early evening square users.

Margot was commissioned in 2015 as part of Unannounced Acts of Publicness with support from Argent.
